Key Club

 

I joined Key Club my Junior year at the Dayton STEM School. In key club, we work in groups to plan and run events around the school. We have these events to raise money for local charities. I have worked to have a middle school gamenight to raise money and fodd for a local food bank. My group and I have also worked to organize a candygram event to host in February. This goal of this event is to raise money to buy materials for blankets. We then made "tie" blankets, using the materials we  bought, to give to a local pregnancy crisis center. We wanted to give newborns a blanket that they would grow up with and that would be an important aspect of their early childhood.
